Recently a few people have asked for a few of my favourite snack recipes. So to make it simple, I have created a few videos to show you. Also, if you like smoothies, I have a few of my faves here.
Some of My Favourite Snack Recipes
1. My Açai Bowl
This is my simple açai bowl recipe… very economical as well and yes I truly did eat it for dinner
I’ve learnt to listen to what my body feels like, how hungry it is and I definitely know it’s feel satisfied after eating this – yummo
What’s your favourite açai bowl topping?
2. Choc Almond Balls

A few weeks ago on my grandma’s birthday, I received my next publication – My Progress Journal. The following video clip outlines the unveiling of the My Progress Journal. Am so excited to be able to share this with you.
Sincere Gratitude…
Thanks so much mum for your support in editing the journal – so grateful for your support and attention to details, especially with a recovering perfectionist as a daughter
Thank you also to the beautiful clients I have had the privilege of working with and kept asking for creative ways to track
I don’t know about, however I did this as a young person with my calendar and a number of other ways. For me, I feel like a kid again playing and having fun tracking my own progress
Is it time to reconnect with your joy or is something deeper calling you?
Joining the Dots…
A few weeks ago, I caught up with a close friend. We had a great conversation and then she asked if I had coached tennis before. I said yes a bit, however that moment will be etched in my mind for a long time.
You see, when I moved many years ago, I left the majority of my tennis life behind. It was time to reinvent myself and not just be know as the tennis player or coach. I was moving in to a new world of teaching and education.
However over time, little nudges kept occurring . From the wife and husband couple who were in a workshop I facilitated to friends asking if I could coach their children. I politely declined the majority of requests as the tennis world was in the past (or so I thought). One day though I decided to accept the invitation to hit and had lots of fun (there were strict instructions though – it was just for fun ). Then recently, I was asked to coach again and something just seemed right, so I accepted.
Reconnecting to My Joy…
Little by little things kept flowing and then last week on my grandmas’ birthday, I coached a group of young people for the first time and time just stopped. I felt like I had reconnected with a long lost love. It was so much fun – just like I remember as a kid myself. Now more than ever I know tennis is something I can do, it is not who I am though (and that is something I am passionate about) and I can bring the wisdom I have outside of the sport with me
A huge thank you to my family for their support (especially the handyman in the family who helped make the basket so versatile and cater for the different coloured balls – see pic), my friends who kept asking and waited patiently until I was ready and also the beautiful humans who have supported my healing over the past few years (as being a professional athlete is not what is portrayed, however that is for another day). I am forever grateful to you all
And yes I have coached before, my parents’ created a tennis academy in the Hunter Valley that I was lucky to grow up at and coached many people there. And later on took a few state and national teams away, as you can see in the images below…
Over to You…
Is there something in your life that is calling you? If so, I hope you have as joyful a reunion as I did when I reconnected with that calling within me.

A few weeks ago now (March 27, 2022 to be exact), the My Self-Trust Journal was published
Learning to come home to my true Self, develop greater self-awareness and increase self-trust has been an adventure that has been going for many years now
Being on the adventure and shifting from the external (i.e. people-pleasing and imposter syndrome) to the internal (questioning my own sense of worth and purpose or if I had one) and knowing who I Am hasn’t been easy, however it’s worth it
It’s involved many, many, many hours of training, being coached / mentored and even 4 x 10-day silent meditation retreats. It’s truly been a rollercoaster ride – very few regrets though and I’ll keep (un)learning
Now it’s ready to be shared with the world
Gratitude…
Thanks again mum for your support over the past few days of editing – you are a gem and I am so lucky to have you as my mum
Thanks so much to my brother for his photography insights
Thank you also to the clients whom I’ve worked with over the years and of course my own mentors and inner circle – am so grateful
