If You Knew You Couldn’t Fail, What Would You Create In Your Life?
One of the questions I love in coaching is “What would you do if you knew your couldn’t fail”? The past couple of days, I have had a number of conversations with people who want to create new things in their life (a.k.a making a transition in their life).
So today, I wanted to unpack creating and ask you the question, what would you create in your life, if you knew you couldn’t fail?
What Does Create Mean?
Before we start looking at what you could create, let’s make sure we are on the same page about what it means. There are a few definitions of create, including –
- “to bring in to existence” ~ Merriam-Webster Dictionary,
- “to make something new, or invent something” ~ Cambridge Dictionary,
- “to evolve from one’s own thought or imagination, as a work of art or an invention” ~ Dictionary.com, and
- “to make or produce (something) : to cause (something new) to exist” ~ Brittanica.com.
And in order to create we need creativity – which means –
- “the ability to make or otherwise bring into existence something new” ~ Britannica.com,
- “the ability to produce or use original and unusual ideas” ~ Cambridge Dictionary, and
- “the ability to transcend traditional ideas, rules, patterns, relationships, or the like, and to create meaningful new ideas, forms, methods, interpretations, etc.” ~ Dictionary.com.
What words jump out for you as you read those definitions?

Now we are on the same page about what create or creating means. What would you create in your life if you knew you couldn’t fail?
Maybe it is creating a –
- deeper relationship with some of those trusted family and friends around you,
- business that aligns with a passion of yours,
- deeper relationship with your true Self and focusing on your needs,

A Gentle Reminder…
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that frightens us.
We ask ourselves – Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?
Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking, so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are born to manifest the glory that is within us. It is not within some of us, it is in everyone.
And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others”.
~ Marianne Williamson.
