The Forest of Feelings Workshop
An Emotional Well-Being Workshop for 7-10 Year Olds
In this interactive educational workshop we will –
- 🌿 Name a wider range of feelings – not just happy, sad or mad,
- 🌿 Notice where feelings show up in the body,
- 🌿 Name a regulation strategy and start to use it (i.e. breathing &/or tai chi walking),
- 🌿 Discover that feelings are temporary and can change,
- 🌿 Build empathy – notice how our feelings can affect the people around us.

The details for the Forest of Feelings workshop are as follows –
Dates: Wednesday September 30th, 2026
Time: 9am-12.30pm
Age Group: 7-10 Year Olds
Venue: Gunnamutta Pavillion Room 2
Investment – $55 for 1 Person and $100 for 2 People
What to Bring – Please bring a drink bottle with water and a snack

About the Facilitators
Mackenzie, Sienna and Jane Taylor
This workshop has been created by Mackenzie, Sienna and Jane Taylor and came about after the girls’ mum went overseas for work. The workshop will be facilitated by Mackenzie, Sienna and Jane as each person brings a valid experience in relation to emotions.

A – Jane has a Masters of Education, ICF PCC and Mentor Coach, facilitator and registered teacher. In her first career, Jane was a professional tennis player. Since 2002 (her second career), Jane has been a registered teacher working in a variety of roles within P-12 education and VET across Australia as well as in her own business. Jane is a sensitive human and is passionate about emotional intelligence and well-being.
