I was excited when My Gratitude Journal arrived in the post. I am grateful to my friend Jane Taylor to have published such a useful and valuable resource. Here is a tool that can assist people to appreciate the small positive aspects of their daily lives to pave for them a more positive mindset.

For me My Gratitude Journal was the support to reconnect with the habit of gratitude. Years ago, when I first met Jane Taylor, she guided me towards seeing the positive in the world and I am grateful to her. To this day I still ask my children the same question – ‘What is one good thing that happened to you today?’ Research states it takes 6 weeks to form a habit. Writing for 28 days and using the Gratitude Tracker was truly an amazing resource to kick start my habit of gratitude.

I recommend My Gratitude Journal to anyone and everyone. Whether you are starting your journey or searching for what you have lost you can find appreciation for the things you value in writing in this journal.

“My struggle has always been allowing myself to take time out to rest and relax without guilt. As a mother, partner and business owner there was no balance in my life. I always felt my needs end up being pushed aside to meet those of all the demands around me.

I also find at this stage of my life, I’m looking to change career paths and create what my inner voice is persistently nudging me to do. Hence my interest in the Life-work harmony haven (now Lead from Within).

Working with Jane has helped my focus and articulate what it is I would like to create. I now realise that I need to focus on the right processes and I feel better equipped to do so. “When I was first introduced to Emotional Intelligence, I have to admit I didn’t really know what it meant and had my doubts that it would be of any benefit to me. Jane’s explanation of what Emotional Intelligence was and what the assessment entailed was clear and easy to understand. It sparked my interest and I thought, hang on, this could actually really benefit me particularly at a professional level.
